Every day this summer, kids across the country (ages 15 and under) can bowl two games for free at participating bowling centers.

Terrace Lanes (in Frederick) is participating again this year. If you live outside of Frederick County, check here to see if a center close to you is participating.

You need to register online for the program (no walk-ins). Throughout the summer, you’ll be emailed a coupon each week the program runs. You’ll need to print a new coupon each week and present it to the bowling center attendant when you take your kids for their free games.

Standard shoe rental rates apply.

If parents, babysitters, or older siblings who don’t qualify for the program would like to bowl with the kids, you can pay a one-time payment of $24.95. This fee covers everyone in your family who doesn’t qualify for the free program. After you register for the free program, you’ll be offered the opportunity to purchase the $24.95 Kids Bowl Free Family Pass.

For nine weeks this summer, Regal Cinemas will offer selected G or PG rated movies for a dollar on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am. This is the first year the summer movies have not been free, but they’re still a bargain at $1.
