The Maryland Infants and Toddlers Program provides valuable services to anyone in need—regardless of financial need. A friend’s son was speech delayed at two and received free in-home speech (and behavior) therapy until he turned three. I wish I’d known about this when my then-4-month-old wasn’t yet playing with her hands and was deemed developmentally delayed. Those weekly treks to Children’s Hospital in DC got old real fast.
