Frederick’s own Wild Goose Brewery will be celebrating its first birthday in style. They already offer free brewery tours every Saturday, complete with the chance to relax in their “tasting room” which is really just an excuse to sit at their bar and sample the local flavors for free.

Saturday, the 8th, however, things will be a bit different. For their 1 year event, they’ll be offering beer samples, brewery tours, live music, pulled pork and bratwurst sandwiches, and rumor has it, there will be limo rides of some kind as well. The event lasts from 3 to 9pm, so you’ll still have plenty of time afterwards to catch up with your regular weekend festivities.

The music playlist includes the Blue Vultures and Vinyl Rhino. The beer playlist includes Wild Goose India Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Oatmeal Stout, Nut Brown Ale, and hopefully one of their great seasonals. Then be sure and check out the selection from Flying Dog, also brewed by Wild Goose.
